We see all patients on an appointment basis and for routine visits request that you call well in advance so that we can reserve a time that meets your needs. In general, we can begin to schedule regular checkups two months prior to the visit. Please arrive 10 minutes in advance of your appointment time. In preparation for your appointment, you can print and complete the registration and billing forms found in the Patient Services section of our website

At Greater Lowell Pediatrics we believe strongly that every child should have a Primary Care Physician (PCP). A physician who knows your child and your family well is in the best position to direct and coordinate medical care. For our doctors, a relationship developed over time, built on trust and affection, is the most rewarding aspect of pediatric practice. Although difficult to fully achieve in a large group like ours, we strive for continuity of care and hope that as many of your child’s visits as possible will be with his or her primary doctor. Over time, most families may come to know several of our providers well and appreciate the advantages a group practice provides in terms of accessibility, availability of records, and physician collaboration.

Sick Visits

Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. We encourage you to call as early in the day as possible for illness visits. Same day appointments for illness are available for calls received before 5 p.m. We have a dedicated and well-trained staff of triage nurses to advise you on illness care and help you determine if a visit is necessary. After 5 p.m. weekdays and noon on Saturday, our calls are answered by an answering service. A physician is available 24 hours a day, but we ask you to reserve after hours calls to our physicians for urgent matters that cannot wait for regular business hours.

Our after-hours phone system does allow you to record messages concerning prescription refills, referrals, records, billing, and laboratory services.
